Want to be a TV STAR at this year's Wroughton Classic?

Having heard of the fantastic selection of vehicles that gather at Wroughton each August, we have no less than THREE TV crews visiting the show this year researching or filming for coming TV programmes!

classic gear

Do you know of classic car or bike owners happy to let Chris Serle (of TV's 'That's Life' with Esther Ranthzan fame) drive their cars and feature in an exciting new programme, Classic Gear, set to appear on prime time ITV in November? The more unusual, rare or eccentric the better! You can see more about the show here: www.classicgear.tv If you would like to be shortlisted email your details, plus photo if possible, to wroughtonclassic@tiscali.co.uk

FROM Z CARS TO LIFE ON MARSHOW DID FORD CHANGE YOUR LIFE? Do you remember your first Ford? Did you dream of driving like the Professionals or the Sweeney? Were family holidays spent navigating the countryside in a Ford Cortina?
testimony films Testimony Films is making a documentary for BBC celebrating the cult classic British Ford cars made at Dagenham. From the Anglia and the Capri to the Zodiac and the Zephyr, Ford brought the American Dream to the UK. We would love to hear how your Ford car changed your life; perhaps you have memories of incredible journeys, perhaps you have an unusual car or maybe you found romance on the road.
If you, your partner or your family owned a Ford car or worked at Dagenham in the 50s 60s 70s or 80s and have interesting stories to tell, photographs or home movies of you and your car during these decades, then please contact: Emily Sivyer or Pete Vance on 0117 925 8589, e-mail emily.sivyer@testimonyfilms.com

blast films Blast Films are producing a documentary about British families for the BBC. The BBC series intends to celebrate the British family in 2008 by exploring the fascinating past and present that all families have at their core, and by rediscovering the importance and strength of family bonds and relationships in modern Britain.
This BBC documentary is a landmark piece and we are looking for families who would like to be involved in the series. Researchers will therefore be visiting the Wroughton Classic Car & Bike Show and wandering around, approaching and talking to people about the project.

Of course, EVERYONE will be a star at this year's show, watch out for the cameras and presenters from locally based SwindonWeb, they will be making our first SHOW DVD throughout the weekend. All proceeds from the DVD will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support so let us know NOW if you would like one!

With over 2000 classic vehicles and 23,000 visitors to the show, the Wroughton Classic 2007 was a fantastic success! To find out more about the 2007 show CLICK HERE
